Last weekend the tenth anniversary of the Balenciaga museum was celebrated in San Sebastián and one of the guests at the parade was one of the great Spanish firms dedicated to Otaduy brides. Known, recognized and admired by all of us, which was also ten years old.
I share this information to explain that the firm contacted us to find out if we were interested in collaborating with any of our designs for the parade.
We met in her beautiful workshop in Barcelona and were able to meet the entire team that Carolina Otaduy works with.
They chose the models in which they were interested and we proposed to make one especially for the firm.
And Loa was born and "parade" on the catwalks of the San Sebastian Fashion Festival with our new and spectacular "Bouquet" design.
The Otaduy catwalk was a success, ending the parade with a beautiful ovation for the firm for its trajectory and its designs. Where Carolina Otaduy declared: «Being able to parade on a stage like the Balenciaga Museum is something that I had always had in mind to do. That's why receiving this opportunity makes me very excited. I am from Donostia, I knew and had visited the museum because Balenciaga is a worldwide benchmark and parading in its museum is an honour».
For our part, we want to tell you that we are very proud of this beautiful collaboration and we want to express our deepest gratitude. That your firm shows us its support and gives us the opportunity to spread our work is something that we can never forget.
